I started Straighten Up Homes, now Kaymenity Home, after watching The Home Edit on Netflix and feeling something shift inside me. At the time, I was a busy mom juggling kids, routines, and a home that felt like it was working against me. I began organizing one room at a time. Once our home had real systems, life felt lighter. I could breathe. My kids felt calmer. Our days ran smoother.
Friends noticed the change and asked for help.
Then their friends asked. Before I knew it, a simple passion had grown into a business that helps families create homes that feel calm and supportive instead of stressful and overwhelming.
Four years and hundreds of South Bay families later, Straighten Up Homes is now Kaymenity Home. Same team, same care, same systems that last, with more ways to help, from a single pantry to a full move, packed, unpacked, and settled in.

Hi, I’m Ashley. I’ve always been the friend who color-codes the pantry for fun, but what keeps me in this work is the families. Watching someone open a drawer and actually exhale never gets old.
I’m at every consult and every walk-through, so the person planning your home is someone you’ve already met. After four years and hundreds of South Bay homes, I can usually tell you how long a space will take before we start. My team jokes that I’m the “master of what is this.” If it’s hiding in a junk drawer, I can probably name it.
I’m a mom of three, so I know what it’s like when the house runs faster than you do. That’s why everything we build is made for real life, not a photoshoot.
